The Story

Classic Folios was launched on the 1st November 1996 as a product of Tocio Promotions, with the first advert appearing in Enjoying MG, the MG Owners’ Club magazine. It all started in a back bedroom and was financed by the sale of our founder’s “restomod” project - his MG BV8. Working initially part-time in the evenings and at weekends, he helped to catalogue and document cherished cars, providing owners, collectors and enthusiasts with the perfect complement to their pride and joy.

Handwritten notes about ownership, restoration, completed works, events attended, well-presented photos and magazine articles, etc., are indicative of the kind of special care and attention for a vehicle that can increase its value for future sales as well as enhancing the joy of ownership.

In 2002, the Classic Folios’ product was renamed Motor Folios, with notable orders coming in from Aston Martin Works Service, the British Racing Drivers’ Club and several Ferrari 250 GTOs. The back bedroom had soon become an office on a dairy farm! Since then, the company has grown and developed into the Motor Folios of today, now trading from our 8,000sq.ft. purpose-built premises in Hampshire.

Still providing beautiful Folios to car owners worldwide, Motor Folios is delighted to cover every marque and model - from the most common Ford or BMW to the rarest of the Etceterati, and every exotic, classic, vintage and veteran in between.

The Mechanics

Each Motor Folio contains 12 record sheets, providing a template for handwritten notes about the following items:

· Vehicle specification

· Vehicle documentation

These sheets are housed in 6 PVC sleeves, while 2 double A5 heavy-duty wallets and 2 heavy-duty A4 wallets provide additional space to store log books, MOT certificates and receipts.

A sleek branded 32MB USB accompanies each Folio, containing editable copies of the sheets, so they can be reprinted.

The Modifications
